With over 30 years of professional experience, Horhon has performed in the capacity of senior designer in virtually every building type. He has extensive experience in institutional, cultural, commercial and residential developments. With a background and special interest in urban design, he brings to the design and master planning of large scale developments a broader perspective. This vision is carried through from an urban scale to the detail architectural design level.

His firm belief in cultural and contextual understanding as a basis for informed, innovative design underlies every design project, regardless of the building type. His sensitivity towards development in emerging economies is cultivated through international project experience in the Far East, Middle East and Europe. As a LEED® Accredited Professional, he firmly believes that sustainable design measures create lasting value. He sees green building concerns as part of a historic continuum and not a new trend, hence an integral component of good, responsive design practice. Environmental concerns and opportunities should underlie every project at various levels.
