The SickKIds Image Guided Therapy Suite project is an advanced medical suite which combines the qualities of surgical procedure rooms with diagnostic imaging. The design optimizes operational safety and patient care and balances the highly technical requirements of surgery and diagnostic imaging with a reassuring and pleasant environment for paediatric patients, and staff. Located within an existing area of the hospital, the project required complex coordination with equipment planners and users, detailed analysis of treatment patterns and flow, and is carefully executed in phases to minimize disruption to adjacent areas.
